The BBPA has responded to the Government consultation on the implementation of T level programmes. The response demonstrated the BBPA’s keen support for the new programmes, however highlighted that T levels must be properly developed to ensure they are fit for purpose and properly represent our sector.
T level programmes, which are to be launched in waves over the next few years, aim to overhaul the UK education system by redeveloping the current technical education system to make it easier to understand and navigate for young people.
Additionally, the BBPA recently attended a T level conference which discussed how T levels should be implemented, how work placements for T level students will operate, and how occupational maps can be correctly developed to support the T level programme.
