Erik joined the BBPA as the Taxation and Trade Policy Advisor in July 2017, after nearly five years of working on trade policy at the British embassy in Washington DC. In addition to covering Market Access Barriers, Intellectual Property and Business Engagement, he also volunteered behind the embassy Bar! Erik has a MSc from LSE and an undergraduate from Furman University. In a former life he worked in higher education at a university in Madrid and speaks fluent Spanish.
